There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to mental health treatment options. I specialize in providing services that are customized for each individual based on their life. I have a Ph.D. in International Psychology focusing on different cultures’ needs, specializing in Trauma. I have completed advanced training in EMDR therapy. I am certified in Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Hypnotherapy, and mindfulness-based therapy to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, etc.
I do not believe in a one size fits all approach and I don’t believe in using one modality but using a variation of them all to help you achieve your goals. You are unique, your story is unique, and your experiences are unique. Why would I use the same method as another client for you?
Why did I specialize in trauma?
Because Trauma is everything, from war-PTSD, and sexual abuse, to a breakup, or falling down the stairs. It is anything and everything that causes you emotional distress. There are different degrees of trauma but anything that causes you distress when you think about is a form of trauma and EMDR therapy can help reduce or completely eliminate it.
Life is very different without an Instagram filter. We’re living in a world of fast-paced life, where the expectations are high. We need to have everything together: perfect relationship with our partner or spouse; successful career at work (or school), great body image & self esteem–and more than 100 likes on every single social media post! The reality is, we are all humans with real emotions, feelings, ups, and downs. What is your life really like? Are you happy with the job you have? The friends you have? The relationships you are in?
More importantly, Are you happy with WHO YOU ARE TODAY, HOW YOU ARE LIVING YOUR LIFE?
When you are unable to find your voice; when you feel like, I am not good enough, I am not worthy, or I am not lovable, It can be hard. I firmly believe it is possible to be happy with the life you’re living. It is crucial to take a moment to embrace your struggles, challenge yourself, work through difficult situations and find true happiness through addressing the challenges in your life.
I use CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and DBT (dialectical behavior training) mindfulness combined with EMDR therapy, so you can find your voice again without the inner critic. We will untangle it all.

ALL SESSIONS ARE VIRTUAL –tele-health! No in-person sessions!
In the last few years, I have found telehealth therapy is better than in-person, especially for EMDR therapy, which led me to switch to a virtual Telehealth practice-only model.
Firstly, it is more convenient – with telehealth, you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home, without having to worry about traffic or other distractions.
Secondly, it can be less stressful than in-person therapy – you are not worried about making it to your appointment on time or having to drive after a tough session.
Additionally, telehealth allows you to be surrounded by things that provide you comfort and privacy, which allows you to relax and focus on the therapy session, without any distractions. This can be especially beneficial for EMDR therapy, which I have found works much better virtually.
